...So, suddenly i found myself back when it all begun, our two benches or maybe three, exactly where they were supossed to be.
I scratched the wall where i used to sit back, i wanted to unbury the lost souls, wanted to unlock the beautiful treasure where it all begun. I couldnt.

I walked away, getting close to the second one, where the clearest memories still alive, i sat how many times i did in those days, i saw her soul, her uncorrupted soul of those times, innocence in the air, i was grabbing her hands with both of mine. A soul that appeared and vanished representing differents days, weeks, and months, remembering her different hair brushes, her beautiful hair..., the clothes, the time, the rain...where we shared everything, in that place, where it all begun. I just couldnt bear.

Didnt dare to get close to the third one, maybe someday, but not now.
I just tend to get back to that place, not looking to hurt myself, but its 'cause i find peace and comfort, unluckily thats where every precious and some forgettable memories collide, and where ghost from the past still alive...

XXXVI Semana cultural del Japón - Festival de Canciones Japonesas

El sábado 8 de noviembre se dió lugar al ya siempre esperado Festival de Canciones Japonesas dentro de la anual Semana cultural del Japón.

El evento, como el año pasado, fue conducido por Hisae Suguimitzu y Javier 'Bicho' Goya. Siempre divertidos y con buena quimica su conducción fue mas que acertada.

El festival comenzó con un remix de clásicos animes como Candy Candy y Saint Seiya, fue muy ingenioso y bastante nostalgico. Seguirian un serie de canciones mas tradicionales, pasando por enka, jpop, etc. y covers de L'Arc en Ciel al final por parte de Hayabiki.

Destacare la presentación de Midori Uchima (me encanta como canta esta chica!), y los 3 hermanos Fukusaki los cuales siempre hacen notar tal pasión por el canto que contagia al público presente.

En fin, fue un buen evento, auque si tengo que decirlo, el año pasado fue algo mejor, no por la performance de los chicos y chicas, sino que tal vez la elección de canciones del año pasado llegaron mas al público, como que fueron mas emotivas. De todas maneras felicitaciones a todos los que participaron, gracias a ellos pudimos pasar una muy buen velada, y como ya desde hace un par de años el Festival de Canciones Japonesas (y la Exhibición de Artes marciarles, arriba Kendo!) es para mi el evento infaltable dentro de la anual Semana cultural del Japón.

Y si, el lente de mi cámara ya muestra su paso por el tiempo (sumandole a mi no muy buena ubicación), prometo corregir ambos para la próxima ocasión!

Ono Sushi Bar

Con gran expectativa y despues de varios meses de espera, finalmente inaguró Ono Sushi Bar en Miraflores.

Fuimos los 4 hermanos Vergara-Gonzales, llegamos alrededor de las 9:30pm, un poco tarde pero llegamos, ya adentro pregunte por la administradora (tsssss), y quien iba a ser, sino mi buena amiga Bruj..digo Jessica; con su ya característico 'sentido del humor' nos recibió gratamente, y la verdad es que no nos habiamos visto desde buen tiempo.

Nos ubicamos en el 2do piso, acomodado como un 'lounge' y presentando una respetable barra.
Carta en mano, comenzamos a inspeccionar, Jessy nos explicó el contenido de los platos y nos recomendo algunos, personalmente sólo tenia un punto de comparación, el Hanzo Sushi Bar.

El otoshi estuvo excelente, figura de cono hecho de una especie de masa hojaldre con relleno de atún (si el paladar no me engaña), sobre este una salsa de maracuya con ajonjolí, podría sonar extraño a primeras, no habia probado nada parecido antes, buenísimo. Seguiria algo de sashimi, esta vez un Ososukuri de salmon con salsa de miso de increible textura, para continuar algunos tipos de makis, y arroces picantes como dulces, probamos tambien un ramen con 3 tipos de carnes muy bueno, terminando con un postre de helados y frutas abrumados por una crema de sake.

Fue una velada muy anecdótica llena de conversas y sabores nuevos. Gracias a Jessica por recibirnos y pasar un excelente rato.

Y aunque llegamos 4 dias despúes de la inguración igual pudimos pasar una muy agradable noche de sushi!

Megaman 9, de los 80's para uds!

Hace un par de meses se esparcio el rumor de que Capcom co. estaba desarrollando ya una secuela directa de Megaman, aquel que dejó de aparecer desde su última versión en 1996, Megaman 8 (PSX/Sega Saturn).

Ayer un artículo me tomó por sorpresa, o mas bien un video, un trailer, primicia del nuevo Megaman 9.
Cargó unos segundo y le dí 'Play', suponía de que estaba viendo una especie de resumen del ciclo de Megaman, su evolución, como comenzó, etc., pero para mi gran sorpresa (muy grata por cierto!), estaba totalmente equivocado, lo que veia era 'actual gameplay', una serie de sprites y simples pixels que parecian mas bien ser traidos, como por una máquina del tiempo, directamente desde mediados y fines de los 80's.

Que?, que estoy escribiendo cosas sin sentido?, estamos 2008!
Cuando el primer rumor del desarrollo de MM9 se dió a conocer, sus seguidores, los fanáticos, y los gamers en general, ya estaban pensando y preguntándose, 'y como será?', estamos hablando del clásico Megaman, mascota ícono y símbolo de Capcom desde los 80's, aquél que innovo los juegos de perspectiva 'side scrolling' en el NES; sera 'side'?, por supuesto!, sería una herejía lanzarlo al full 3D!
Esta bien 'side', pero con 'engine' y diseño en 3D?, sera como el 'Powered up'?, como el X Maverick Hunter?, o tal vez se diseñe en 'cell shaded' (lo cual no estuviera nada mal), o caso será algo parecido al re-make de 'Bionic Commando', con graficos detallados en 3D pero manteniendo su estilo 2D, respuesta: ninguna de las anteriores!.

Megaman esta de vuelta, directo de los 80´s, al mas clásico estilo del primero en la serie, sprites, pixels, y tonos a nivel de midi, como en el entrañable e insuperable NES. Fuera el 3D!, los poligonos, el lighting, el shading, el morphing, etc., ni siquiera 2D estilizado con cientos de sprites por movimiento, y con paleta de miles de colores (Léase: Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD), esto es total y puro estilo retro, asi son los 'verdaderos' juegos!.
Capcom se juega la trayectoria y fama de Megaman regresándolo a sus raíces, sus orígenes en todo punto de vista, por donde se lo mire, para los 'old-schools', los que experimentaron con lo que vio nacer en los 70's, la innovación en los 80's, el auge en los 90's, y el cambio radical dando preferencia al 3D en adelante, esto es un premio, una sorpresa grata, tanto asi que seguramente brotaron lagrimas de nostalgia!; los que no vivieron esa evolución jamás podran apreciarlo, los mas jóvenes seguramente lo miraran con desprecio, pero para los verdaderos seguidores y testigos de esa época, esto es un regalo del cielo!.

Sería prudente también de suponer que este primer 'trailer' que muestra el 'gameplay retro', sea uno de los modos a incluir, tal vez sea un versión doble, una retro, y una 'updated' para atraer al público de esta generación, como ya ha pasado antes, pero veremos, por el momento y asi sea esta la version única y definitiva los old-school estamos saltando en un pie, de felicidad!.

Megaman y su interminable lucha contra el Dr. Wily y sus Robot Masters estan de regreso en: Megaman 9 ó Rockman 9: The Ambition's Revival!! (ロックマン9 野望の復活!!, Rokkuman Nain Yabō no Fukkatsu!!), tiene una fecha tentativa de lanzamiento para setiembre del presente año, como es de suponerse el juego no será de mas de algunos cuantos megas que contar (se presume), por lo tanto como ya ha sido anunciado será vendido on-line via 'direct download', ya sea por el Xbox Live service, el PlayStation Network o el WiiWare, para sus respectivos Xbox360, PlayStation 3 y Wii, es de esperarse y ojalá se concrete también este disponible para el PSP.

'Mi Blog es Mi Mente', una niña con una forma de expresarse muy singular, plasmando su vision única de la vida en palabras en cada entrada; el segundo es de mi buen amigo Hugo (padawan lol) 'SheN's Blog', blog variado, enfocandose en temas de cultura pop, como música, video juegos, comics, tecnología, etc.

Espero seguir anexando mas 'Blogs aliados' muy pronto.

echochrome (Review)

"...aprendiendo a dominar las 5 leyes de la perspectiva..."

En esto se basa 'echochrome', aunque sería mas apropiado decir 'aprendiendo a dominar las 5 leyes (ficticias) de la perspectiva'.
Echochrome es el mas reciente 'puzzle-game' lanzado por Sony para PSP y PS3, probablemente sea uno de los puzzles mas innovadores de los últimos 5 años, lanzado en formato totalmente digital por medio de 'download' a través del PSN (PlayStation Network).
A simple vista el juego parece muy simple con gráficos lineales en su mayoria, con un ambiente en blanco y negro, con un plano de juego flotando en un espacio vacio, sin embargo esta simplicidad es suficiente, no se necesita más, es perfecto como es.
Llamado tambien 'spatial-puzzle', echochrome esta basado en una idea-concepto de Jun Fujiki, el 'engine' fue originalmente llamado OLE ó Object Locative Environment Coordinate System, la idea es muy intersante, el juego se basa únicamente en hacer que una marioneta recolecte sus 'echos' o sombras de si mismo sobre un 'stage' determinado, cambiando la perspectiva 3D del escenario, moviendo los 3 ejes dimensionales con la característica distintiva que este mundo se rige con 5 leyes ficticias de la perspectiva.

No hay mucho que decir sobre la jugabilidad, es simple, rotar la cámara, y presionar 3 botones que, valga la redundancia, activan 3 simples acciones, uno para acelerar el paso de la marioneta, el otro para detenerse a 'pensar'(una especie de pausa in-game), y el último, el boton 'snap' que prefiero no describirlo sino que es mejor tener la oporutnidad de experimentar con el.
Punto aparte esta el lado auditivo del juego, los efectos son simples y claros, notándose el sonido de los pasos de la marioneta con mucha claridad; esta también la voz guía, una voz femenina muy suave y reconfortante de acento británico o parecido, que describe el tutorial y acciones a seguir; pero el punto fuerte e impresionante en mi opinión es la música 'background', es excelente, usando yo la versión de PSP con unos audifonos stereo, la música es increíble, es como estar escuchando una sinfónica en vivo, aunque principalmente son 'solos' de violín, lo tengo que decir uno se enamora de la música de 'echochrome'!.

Nota interesante, este review lo hago basándome en la versión 'demo' de PSP, aunque el juego completo es básicamente lo mismo, solo que incluye una gran variedad de 'stages' en el pack. La version completa sólo cuesta usd.$10 dólares ($9.99 en realidad) lo cual te da el derecho a descargarlo de la página de PSN sea para PSP ó PS3, es un precio muy adecuado para este sólido y entretenido juego que con justa razón y derecho se hace llamar del tipo 'rompe cabeza'.

Song Hye Kyo - Render

Did you see the asian girl above?, nice isn't it!

Well, it all started in a general topic discussion forum, we were posting with some friends personal points of view of a picture that seemed to be Photoshop modified. So while the discussion went on, we reached a different point when a friend showed me this one, i immediately recognized her face, of course she is Song Hye Kyo!, a Korean super star!, though that the thing is i wasnt really sure if the picture was 'real', so after a brief investigation i came with this, it was actually a digital representation of her, an incredible 'render' job made with 3dmax (a computer 3D modeling program) tool.

Behind this stunning work is Max Edwin Wahyudi from Indonesia.

Awesome work Max!

UK, April 4, 2008 - Say what you like about Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, but there's no disputing that not only is it one of the most visually lush games on the PlayStation 3, it also provides an unsurpassed level of realism in its simulation of flinging the world's most desirable cars around beautifully realised locales. We recently caught up with the series' head Kazunori Yamauchi at a press event in London to discuss the future of the game, as well as life for the game's developer Polyphony Digital outside of Gran Turismo.

IGN: This is the first full-blooded Gran Turismo title for the PlayStation 3 – obviously the extra processing power has helped make the game look absolutely gorgeous, but how has this extra power helped under the bonnet?

Kazunori Yamauchi: The physics calculations have improved in precision quite a bit with the move to the PlayStation 3, and of course being able to do that for 16 separate cars is really something.

IGN: You've said previously that Gran Turismo 5 Prologue will not only offer full online race support, but will eventually go on to foster a community of car-lovers. How is that going to happen?

Kazunori Yamauchi: Where we're at now is only half of what we imagine for the game, and we have the other half to work on. The community feature which you refer to is something which we're working on.

IGN: Gran Turismo 5 Prologue is a taster, but can we expect to see downloads in the future boosting the content, and is there a timeline for these?

Kazunori Yamauchi: I can't say exactly right now, but we're looking at fall this year for an update that will complete Gran Turismo 5 Prologue as a game.

IGN: We've held off from this, but surely everyone's been asking about damage in Gran Turismo 5. You've said previously that it's something you're considering, but is it something that's being actively worked on by Polyphony at the moment?

Kazunori Yamauchi: Maybe by fall we'll be able to implement it.

IGN: As a feature of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue?

Kazunori Yamauchi: Yes.

IGN: Obviously Gran Turismo is the stand-out title in its field on the PlayStation 3, but do you ever look at the competition elsewhere, such as Forza on the Xbox or GTR on PC?

Kazunori Yamauchi: I know there are a lot of titles out there, and some of these do things we haven't done yet. But what we're trying to do is perfect every part of what we have so far, and then move on to the next part which we will perfect, and we're doing this in steps, and we'd like people to look forward to those steps.

IGN: You've got a London track in Prologue that looks absolutely lush. We often fantasise about what course a London GP would take – how did you come up with the layout?

Kazunori Yamauchi: I come to London very often, and I've walked the streets and I know them, so that helped a lot. The course that we have in the game at the moment is actually half the size that we originally thought, it's a short course basically, so in Gran Turismo 5 we'll have the longer course in there.

IGN: You've got the F2007 in Prologue, and a lot of people would love to see Polyphony work on a Formula 1 title in the future. Is that something you'd be interested in?

Kazunori Yamauchi: The F2007 is currently I think the most precise simulation of an F1 car in existence, and I think it's something that everyone should try out. We've had to implement a lot of new physics into the game, and a lot of mechanisms that we had left out before that we had to add to simulate the car properly, and it's something we're looking forward to having everyone experience. As for F1, of course we've always wanted to add more F1 cars, and to make an F1 game, but we haven't made any movement to acquiring the license, so there's no set timeline for it yet, but it's something we're looking at.

Shadow of the Colossus (Review)

"...es tan grande el deseo de recuperar un amor perdido,

Esta es una de las decenas de interrogantes que pueden venir a la mente mientras recorres el mundo de 'Shadow of the Colossus'.

Un cuento Epico.
Shadow of the Colossus nos sumerge en un inmenso mundo épico, en un cuento donde el valor, la batalla, la travesía, el amor y la desesperación conviven fusionandose en una historia que evoca la simplicidad y una increíble complejidad al mismo tiempo.

Podría escribir la historia que encierra SOTC en un par de minutos como a la vez me podría tomar horas de horas contandote la misma historia pero con mi propia interpretación, y es que una de las cosas fascinantes que encierra este juego es la libertad de 'completar' la historia y los sucesos con de una manera personal, decenas de preguntas se presentaran y muchas interpretaciones se le podran dar como posibles respuestas. Y es porque asi ha sido escrito el universo de SOTC, con mudos vacios que te motivan y te permiten la libertad de interpretación y de argumentos que se tendran que leer entre lineas, que tal vez se haga un poco dificíl de explicar hasta que verdaderamente interactuas en el.

Es un guión que realmente no debe ser leido en un artículo, sino que merece ser apreciado e interactuado por uno mismo.

Contra el mundo...por ella.
Shadow of the Colossus nos presenta a Wander (asi lo llaman, nadie sabe su nombre), el valiente joven; Mono, la sentenciada damisela; y Agro, el fiel y valiente corsel.

No es la clásica historia del caballero que busca rescatar a su doncella, sino la de un muchacho común que va en contra de su sociedad, sus leyes, creencias y hasta el mundo mismo deseperado por revivir a su amada.

Sin importar la distancia y las leyes de su mundo, Wander decide ingresar al contienente prohibido, teniendo que acceder al desesperado recurso hacer un pacto con una mágica y casi divina entidad aprisionada por presuntos milenios, el cual exige que Wander batalle y elimine 16 grandiosos colosos que evocan diferentes animales, seres míticos, diferentes culturas y la fusión de todos estos.

Un continente inhabitado y mágico.
Shadow of the Colossus nos ofrece un vasta region por explorar, es una especie de continente, en forma de peninsula para ser mas exactos, con características variadas que comprenden llanos, extensos campos y desiertos, peligrosas mesetas, profundos cañones y más, presentado en cada caso asomborsos detalles como la flora, la limitada fauna (al parecer los grandes animales se extinguieron por 'alguna razon') e increíbles y detalladas estructuras arquitectónicas 'aparentemente' hechas por el hombre como: inmensas estatuas, represas, puentes, grandes castillos, asombrosos templos y vestigios de ciudades con la singularidad de que todo, completamente todo el contienente esta deshabitado.

Esta sensación de estar solo y de que 'alguna vez hubo gente aqui' crea una atmosfera realmente mágica y misteriosa.

Mi fiel amigo Agro.

El valiente y leal corsel, nunca habia visto un personaje animal tan adecuadamente diseñado y animado, es la representacion digital de un animal mas cercana a la realidad, Agro pareciese que estuviera vivo.

Tan protagonista como Wander, sin Agro no se podria continuar la historia, su valentia y sacrificio se compara con la de Wander.

Entrañable a medida que recorres el mundo de SOTC, no seria extraño que, despues de algunas horas y de haber sobrevivido a un par de aventuras y batallas colosales, comienzes a llamar a Agro en la pantalla y en la vida real, y es mas, te aseguro que nombrarás a tu mascota con ese nombre y lo cambiarás. Uno de los personajes virtuales mas memorables que he visto sin duda alguna.

Derrota al Coloso!...no todos sobreviviran.

Si te has decidido a darle una oportunidad Shadow of the Colossus ten encuenta de no cometer el error de leer la historia transcrita en algún sitio web, analizala e interpretala, descúbrela por tí mismo, después comparala.

Eso si tengo que decirlo, lamentablemente SOTC no es un juego que será apreciado por todos, si no te es emotivo las características casi literarias que encierra esta obra, no te interesa la creatividad, la fantasia de la imaginación y/o si eres de la generación que soló busca falsa violencia, guiones simplistas y absurdos, y hasta algunos la no existencia de estos!, desde ya te lo digo, no disfrutarás de SOTC.

Shadow of the Colossus desde el primer minuto de la introducción hasta el último del final es comparable con el mejor largometraje épico, y por que no decirlo, con el mejor libro de aventuras épicas, es una obra visual-auditiva, interactiva, intrigante y emotiva merecedora de culto. Aunque para muchos desde hace un par de años ya lo es.

Segmento de Kendo.

Con mucho agrado asistí a la exhibición anual de artes marciales en la XXXV Semana Cultural del Japón. El evento fue muy bueno, y mas, ya que el equipo de Kendo salio a primeras para abrir la noche. Mis felicitaciones y cordiales saludos para todos, sensei, sempais, kenshis amigos y compañeros de entrenamiento.

"Can you celebrate?" por Midori Uchima.

Por segunda vez y de pura casualidad tuve la grata oportunidad de escuchar a Midori Uchima en su, casi ya, representativa canción. Con cámara en mano, aunque en una no muy buena ubicación grabe un par de minutos de su siempre cautivante presentación.

Con una mediocre presentación en Santiago, Perú no pudo con el quipo nacional Chileno.
Las esperanzas para la afición peruana sólo duraron 20 minutos, los últimos del 1er tiempo, lo demás fue puro trámite. Aunque para ser sinceros jugaron, no mejor, pero dierón algo mas que en el anterior partido contra Paraguay. Esperemos que esta demostración de ganas siga en ascendente, por que personalmente creo que mas que técnica, sistema, o condición física, un partido se gana (o mínimo se empata de visitante) con coraje.

50th anniversary of Space travel

"...October 4, 2007 Today marks the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Sputnik satellite. Even half a century on, the impact of the October 4th 1957 launch that saw the Soviet Union’s satellite became the first to be put into orbit still resonates as a momentous achievement in the history of human endeavor. Considered the first real blow in the "Space race" between the USSR and the USA, the launch provided the springboard for an exciting period of space exploration carried out by the two countries. This chain of events culminated in the first launch of a human into space in 1961, with Yuri Gagarin sent into orbit aboard the Soviet Union’s spacecraft, Vostok 1, and the 1969 moon landing by the USA with the Apollo 11 spacecraft.
The launch half a century ago changed the way in which humans viewed the possibilities of space exploration and was a landmark moment in the race to be the first to control regions beyond the earth. Sputnik 1 was only about the size of a basketball, being only a 23 inch (585mm) diameter sphere. It weighed 183 pounds (84 kg) and had four antennas attached that measured about 3 meters in length. The satellite carried two radio transmitters which provided information on the density of the earth’s atmospheric layers, as well as the first opportunity to detect meteorites. Sputnik is believed to have orbited the earth at a height of around 250km (150 miles) and traveled at 29,000km per hour, which meant that it went around the earth every 98 minutes before losing power after 22 days in orbit and burning up upon re-entry.
The launched of the Sputnik by the USSR signaled a technological triumph over the United States, who two months later attempted to launch there own satellite, Vanguard 1, which embarrassingly exploded whilst being launched in late 1957. The US would not have a successful satellite launch into outer space until February 1958, with Explorer 1.
In the 50 years since the first successful satellite orbit humans have continuously pushed the boundaries of space exploration. The Sputnik 1 mission was the first and probably the most significant launch of its kind and certainly sparked a new level of scientific discoveries, especially between the players in the cold war. Now there are close to 1000 satellites that orbit the earth, carrying out all kinds of investigations including communications, weather observations and mechanical probes of the regions we refer to as outer space. Countless information has been gained through the use of satellites based on the original Sputnik 1. ..."

Sebastian Loeb plays Gran Turismo 4 Online Version

Citroën team driver and multiple times FIA World Rally Champion, Sebastian Loeb. His exceptional driving skills have made of him almost a living legend in the world of WRC.

Last year, Loeb was invited by Kazunori Yamauchi to participate in a Gran Turismo 4 Online competition in the Polyphony headquarters in Tokyo. The competition was fierce, Loeb used his real-life driver experience for this virtual race!

The Polyphony Digital team made a report-interview video that shows the arriving of Loeb to Tokyo and the following events. It also shows a very particular fact, where Loeb is using the Gran Turismo 4 game in order to practice before the last qualifying session for the 2005's Le Mans 24Hr endurance race as a Pescarolo-PlayStation Team driver!

Piloto del equipo Citroën y multiple campeón del Rally mundial de la FIA, Sebastian Loeb. Sus excepcionales habilidades de conducción han hecho de él una casi leyenda viviente en el mundo del Rally mundial.

El año pasado, Loeb fue invitado por Kazunori Yamauchi para participar en una competencia de Gran Turismo 4 'en-linea' en el cuartel de Polyphony Digital en Tokyo. La competencia fue dura y difícil, Loeb tuvo que utilizar su experiencia real como piloto para esta carrera virtual!

El equipo de Polyphony Digital preparó un video-reportaje que muestra los eventos que sucedieron a la llegada de Loeb a Tokyo. El video también muestra un hecho muy particular donde se ve a Loeb usando el juego de Gran Turismo 4 como medio de práctica-entrenamiento poco tiempo antes de participar en la ultima sesión de clasificación para la carrera de las '24 Horas de Le Mans' del 2005 como piloto del equipo francés Pescarolo-PlayStation!

New PS3 model underway?

Rumors are flying around due to a new submitted PlayStation3 model to the FCC ( Federal Communications Commission ).
The new model will have the standard PS3 features such as 802.11b/g wi-fi, Bluetooth 2.0, USB ports, card readers, etc. The hard drive space is unknow at the moment but rumors are pointing at a 40GB model, resulting possibly in a new, more 'affordable' price, around $400 dollars.

Let´s hope!

Rumores acerca de un nuevo modelo de PlayStation3 estan volando estos dias debido a que Sony America (SCEA) ha ingresado y registrado una nueva configuración al FCC de Estados Unidos.
Se dice que el nuevo modelo contará con las características regulares como 802.11b/g wi-fi, Bluetooth 2.0, USB ports, card readers, etc. Sin embargo el espacio del disco duro se desconoce hasta el momento pero los rumores indican que el nuevo modelo incluiría un HD de 40GB; resultando, probablemente, en un precio mas accesible que bordeará los $400 dólares americanos.

On the edge: A last mission with Jason Bourne

Matt Damon is back with his best character and characterization so far as the CIA ex-assassin dark secret agent Jason Bourne, Damon is Bourne. It seems as if the character was created for him.
The Bourne Ultimatum starts just after the meeting with Neski's daughter in Russia, not with the Pamela Landy chat scene in New York, that has not happened yet, you will realize later. Pieces are filling the puzzle, it's time to get back the past taken.
This third and last installment in the Bourne trilogy is a fast-paced, non-stoping action movie that will have the viewer at the edge of the seat the whole time. Filmed in impressive locations around the globe, bringing back all the exciting elements of the previous movies and introducing new ones, presenting credible acting performance, a near flawless script, breathtaking visual effects, a notable (shaky) on-hand camera work and an awesome direction (again) by Paul Greengrass.
Both, from a action movie enthusiast or a hard critic specialist, the outcome is one, Ultimatum is such a remarkable job.

So, do yourself a favor and go watch it, it's not hype, you will be craving for more Bourne at the end. If more movies were like this one, the world would be a better place to live...watching movies.
